This Rosé Gutswein 2024 from Weingut Bietighöfer is a fresh, elegant rosé from the Palatinate, made for pure drinking pleasure. Sourced from loess and loamy soils, the wine combines ripe fruit with refinement and a remarkably supple structure. The style is dry, but with just enough roundness to remain accessible and charming.
On the nose, the wine is open and inviting, with aromas of apple, pear and grapefruit, complemented by melon, almond and summer flowers. A subtle spicy touch adds depth. On the palate, the rosé is fresh and juicy, medium-bodied, with nice fruit expression, gentle spiciness and a fine "schmelz" that adds elegance and length.
This is a rosé that effortlessly handles different moments: refreshing as an aperitif, but also surprisingly suitable at the table. Served at 10 to 12 degrees, it comes out perfectly with light dishes, salads or simply on a sunny terrace. A rosé with charm, balance and a long, elegant finish.
