Product description
This Grauburgunder Mühlhofen Ortswein 2024 from Weingut Bietighöfer is a convincing and balanced Pinot Gris from the Palatinate, which effortlessly blends freshness and structure. Sourced from selected vineyards around Mühlhofen, on loess and loamy soils, this wine shows itself to be a clear and authentic translation of its origins. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully processed, with an eye for precision and ripeness.
The wine is aged in barriques used several times, which adds depth and texture without overpowering the fruit. On the nose, it opens with ripe aromas of pear, quince and mirabel, subtly complemented by a hint of vanilla. On the palate, a refined layering follows, bringing together notes of almond, brioche, herbal hay and a hint of acacia honey. Everything remains tight and dry, but with enough roundness and "schmelz" to keep the wine accessible.
The result is a Grauburgunder with plenty of drinking pleasure, but also with character and length. Elegant, juicy and slightly spicy, with a lingering finish that invites the next sip. Served at 10 to 12 degrees, this is a versatile wine that is excellent both solo and at the table.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
