The Rotgipfler Classic BIO 2022 from Weingut Fischer is a refined and lively white wine from the Thermenregion, made from 100% Rotgipfler - a rare, autochthonous grape with a unique expression. The grapes from 36-year-old vines are carefully harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks, creating a fresh and pure style.
In the glass, the wine shows a light golden yellow colour. The aroma and flavour are characterised by subtle citrus aromas and a fine fruitiness. On the palette, the wine presents itself powerful and fresh, with an elegant structure, lively texture and a surprisingly long finish. The combination of freshness and body makes this wine versatile and attractive.
The Rotgipfler Classic is excellent with light dishes such as grilled green asparagus, fish in citrus sauce, fried trout or summer salads with goat cheese. Asian dishes with ginger, lime and light spices are also a nice match. Serve at 12°C for optimal aromatic expression.
