There are plenty of tastings and festivals in the Netherlands, but nowhere does the winemaker sit right across from you. At our masterclasses you taste several wines from one estate, hear the philosophy behind every bottle and ask the maker all your questions directly. More intimate than a big event, more personal than a wine course. And at €15 per person it is more accessible than you think: every wine can be ordered on the spot, to take home right away or have delivered.

We take you on a wine journey past the winemakers we work with, from the finest regions of Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Austria and the Netherlands. You taste wines you have never had in your glass, while we tell the real story behind every bottle.
A private tasting can take place in our shops in Utrecht and Amsterdam, but we also come to your location with a load of special wines. Also a great gift!

Frequently asked questions about our wine tastings
What is a wine tasting at ONWINE? ▾
You taste wines from small, independent winemakers that you won't find in the supermarket. At our winemaker masterclasses the winemaker is there in person: you get the story behind every bottle straight from the maker. That is what makes our tastings different from the rest.
How much does a wine tasting cost? ▾
A masterclass costs €15 per person. For that you taste several wines and get the explanation from the winemaker in person. Tickets are available via the ticket link with each upcoming event. Every wine can be ordered on the spot: take it home right away or have it delivered.
Where do the tastings take place? ▾
In our shops: Kintgenshaven 1 in Utrecht (next to the Neude) and De Clercqstraat 130 in Amsterdam West. Both are easy to reach by public transport. Every event shows a city badge, so you can see at a glance where it takes place.
What language is the masterclass in? ▾
Our masterclasses are given in English, so everyone can join. The winemakers really do come from Piedmont, Burgundy, the Loire, the Mosel or another beautiful wine region. If an event is held in a different language, that is always stated.
How often do you organise a wine tasting? ▾
There is a masterclass every month, in some months even two, spread over Utrecht and Amsterdam. They mostly take place at the weekend and a winemaker is our guest for several days: you choose the session that suits you best. Check the agenda above or sign up for the newsletter.
Do I have to take my ordered wine with me? ▾
Not at all. Order a box (6 bottles) or more and we deliver for free by cargo bike within 5 km of the shop. Live further away? Then your order is delivered to your home the week after the tasting, anywhere in the Netherlands.
