    Buy non-alcoholic wine at ONWINE

Every non-alcoholic wine on ONWINE is real wine: made from grapes, fermented and only then dealcoholised. So it is not grape juice, but wine with acidity, structure and a sense of place. You order direct from small winemakers in Italy, Germany, France and Austria, at a fair and transparent price.

The alcohol content is on every label, and much of the range is 0.0%. Under EU rules, dealcoholised wine may contain no more than 0.5% alcohol.

Which alcohol-free wine should you choose?

    Non-alcoholic sparkling wine

Bubbles are the easiest way into alcohol-free wine: the fizz brings freshness and body, so you barely miss the alcohol. Perfect for a New Year's toast. Try the Aurea Fenice Bollicine Bianco Dry from Trentino, the 'RvK' Sparkling Riesling 0.0 from the Mosel, the 'Lilienthal Free' Sekt from the Pfalz or the La Cuvée Insolite Alcohol-Free Sparkling from Bordeaux.

    Non-alcoholic white wine

Fresh, aromatic grapes such as Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc work well without alcohol, because their acidity and aromas carry the wine. Try the alcohol-free Riesling from Weinhaus Hans Beth, the La Cuvée Insolite Alcohol-Free Blanc or the Breezin' Bianco Dry.

    Non-alcoholic rosé

Fruity and easy-going, from aperitif to dessert: the Zero Rosé from Weingut Hof Breitenstein, the Breezin' Sparkling Rosato Dry and the La Cuvée Insolite Alcohol-Free Rosé.

    Non-alcoholic red wine

Red is the hardest style to make without alcohol, because that is where you miss the body first. Soft grapes such as Merlot work well, as in the La Cuvée Insolite Alcohol-Free Rouge. Looking for more structure with dinner? Choose the M0.0D Fossile Fiorentino Rosso: a Tuscan blend partly aged in wood, with each grape vinified separately before the alcohol is removed.

    Alcohol-free aperitif and organic

For drinks there is the Hug0.0 Aperitivo with elderflower and mint. Looking for organic? The Verjus FRIZZ BIO from Weingut Fischer is extra dry and lightly sparkling, made from unripe grapes.

Featured winemaker: Princess SRL from Trentino

Princess SRL is a family business from Lavis that has been making 0.0% wine since 2013. Using their own technique, they remove the alcohol without adding aromas or preservatives. Want to taste every style, from bubbles to red? Choose the Princess SRL 0.0% tasting case with six different bottles.

    Non-alcoholic wine for the holidays

With alcohol-free wine you can pair a whole Christmas dinner: an aperitivo to welcome guests, a white with the starter, a red with the main course and bubbles for the toast.

    Is non-alcoholic wine really alcohol-free?

That depends on the bottle. Dealcoholised wine may contain up to 0.5% alcohol; in a 0.0% bottle the alcohol has been almost entirely removed. The alcohol content is always on the label and in the product information.

Does non-alcoholic wine have fewer calories?

Usually, yes, because alcohol itself is high in calories. Non-alcoholic wine is still a drink to enjoy, not a health product.
