This rare Rotwein Spätlese, vinified from 100% Zweigelt, is a real temptation for lovers of sweet red wines. With only 9% alcohol and a maturation in stainless steel tanks, this Prädikatswein retains its fresh, youthful charm and pronounced fruitiness.
In the glass, this wine shows a deep ruby red colour. The nose is seduced by an intense bouquet of ripe cherries, wild berries and subtle notes of raspberry jam. On the palate, it is velvety and harmonious, with a perfectly balanced sweetness that never becomes heavy, but instead retains a lively freshness.
This seductive red Spätlese is ideal as an accompaniment to chocolate desserts, panna cotta with red fruit or spicy cheeses like gorgonzola.
