Lustro is a natural wine made from 100% Catarratto, sourced from vineyards cultivated using biodynamic methods on alluvial soils rich in micro-elements. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts. A 10-day skin maceration extracts character and complexity. No corrections or additives are used – not even sulfites – preserving the wine’s purity and authenticity.
On the nose, Lustro offers a delicate bouquet of orange blossom and jasmine, layered with notes of lemon peel, bitter orange and a salty mineral touch typical of Sicily’s volcanic terroir. The palate is fresh, vibrant and lightly structured, with a dry finish and subtle tannins.
Lustro pairs beautifully with grilled vegetables, white meats, fish, and seafood pasta. It also complements Middle Eastern dishes and spice-driven vegetarian cuisine. Best served at 11–13 °C to fully enjoy its refreshing and savory complexity.
