The "Bateaux black label" Chardonnay from Poggio is a white wine made from 100% Chardonnay. This Chardonnay has matured for 10 months in oak barrels and then aged in bottle for a further 12 months, resulting in a fat, round Chardonnay that resembles a delicious Chardonnay from Burgundy. The Bateaux black label goes well with fish dishes, pastas and soft cheeses.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
