Montalbera's 'Calypsos' Piedmont DOC Rosato is a supple, balanced rosé made from a variety of red grapes and is best paired with grilled fish and seafood, oven vegetables and goat cheese.

Welcome to the heart of Piedmont, where this enchanting rosé is born. Here we opt for traditional vinification of black grapes, but with a twist to a rosé. We keep it classic, but with a playful approach.

The grapes undergo traditional rosé vinification, with a short contact between the juice and the skins, followed by immediate separation and fermentation at a temperature of 12° -13°C. The result? A lively rosé with a seductive personality.

After aging in stainless steel tanks and further development in the bottle, positioned horizontally for optimal flavour development, you get a wine with a beautiful antique pink colour that just begs to be drunk.

The nose is greeted by a persistent and intense aroma, with typical notes of fresh fruit and clear notes of rose petals. It is like walking through a summer garden, each scent bringing you closer to the essence of the season.
