Clo Vino Rosso is a wine that revolves around everyday moments and spontaneous conviviality. Made from 90% Barbera and 10% Freisa, it embodies the liveliness of Piedmont in an accessible and characterful style. Like a well-executed tango step, it is direct, intense and full of emotion, but always balanced.
In the glass, Clo is bright ruby red and lively. The nose opens fresh and fruity with aromas of crisp cherries and wild strawberries, complemented by subtle spicy and floral nuances. On the palate, it is supple and energetic, with soft tannins and a pleasant freshness that makes the wine light-footed and easy to drink. The Barbera provides juiciness and tension, while the Freisa adds structure and a slight spiciness.
This is a wine that pairs effortlessly with simple, flavourful dishes. Perfect with charcuterie, fresh cheeses, pasta with tomato sauce or grilled white meat dishes. Served at 16–18 °C, Clo comes into its own: an honest, uncomplicated red wine that makes every day just that little bit more special.
