Champagne Trudon has its origins in the village of Festigny, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne. The vineyards are scattered around the village and benefit from slopes facing all directions. This particular topography creates a great diversity of expressions in the grapes. The estate covers about 7.5 hectares spread over 15 plots with mainly clay-limestone-rich soils. Plantings consist of 90% Meunier, 6% Pinot Noir and 4% Chardonnay, with Meunier - the grape perfectly suited to Festigny's soils - in particular defining the character of the champagnes.
