Tonwerk didn’t start by asking how they could sell more wine. It began with a different question: how can you better capture shared moments? Christian is a winemaker who has been working passionately in the cellar for years. Sebastian is a marketing professional who seeks out stories that get under your skin. Two people with a shared drive to do things differently. Together, they founded Tonwerk in 2024, based in Deutschkreutz in Burgenland, in the far east of Austria, where the wind from the Pannonian Plain sweeps across rolling hills and Blaufränkisch is not just a grape variety but a way of life.
