The Grüner Veltliner Ried Längen from Weingut Hindler is a characterful wine that shows the typical face of the Weinviertel region. Derived from muschel limestone soils - formed by old sea sediments, sand and limestone - it develops expressive and refined aromatics. In the nose, it shows delicate fruit notes of stone fruit and red apple, which are complemented on the palate by full, charming accents and a playful juiciness.
On the tongue, the wine presents itself lively and elegant, with a fresh acid balance that supports and prolongs the fruity impression. The characteristic "Pfefferl" of the Grüner Veltliner subtly emerges, adding tension and refinement. Thanks to aging on fine yeast, the wine retains both roundness and freshness, making it accessible yet complex.
This Weinviertel DAC is an excellent companion at the table. It goes perfectly with light meat dishes such as Wiener Schnitzel, but also with grilled fish, fresh salads or dishes from Asian cuisine where a fresh, spicy touch is desired.
