Product description
Champagne Trudon Dyade is a cuvée that brings together the elegance of Chardonnay and the power of Pinot Noir in a harmonious assemblage. This champagne is produced in Festigny, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, where clay-limestone-rich soils create wines with structure, minerality and refinement. The blend consists of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay, supplemented by around 30% reserve wines that are partly aged in oak barrels. With this, Jerome Trudon creates a champagne that is both complex and refined.
No malolactic fermentation is used during vinification, preserving the natural tension, freshness and precision of the grapes. After the second fermentation in bottle, Dyade matures for at least four years on the lie in the estate's cellars, ensuring a fine mousse and deep aromatic development. The result is a champagne with a style that revolves around precision, structure and a long finish.
In the glass, Dyade shows a bright pale yellow colour with buttery reflections and a lively mousse. The nose opens with aromas of blood orange, candied lemon, honeysuckle and ginger, followed by mineral and chalky notes. On the palate, the champagne is soft, creamy and fresh, with flavours of yellow and white stone fruit, citrus and subtle herbal nuances. The long finish combines minerality with hints of liquorice, iodine and ripe fruit, giving this champagne an elegant and precise finish.
