2x 'La Grande Chaume' Chablis 2023 is an elegant, mineral white wine. This Chardonnay comes from the historic Grande Chaume zone, located next to the Premier Cru vineyards Les Forneaux on the right bank of the Serein river. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation. Subsequently, approximately 30% of the wine ages in 227-liter Burgundian oak barrels, while the remaining 70% ages in stainless steel tanks. This combination ensures a perfect balance between freshness, structure, and subtle complexity. On the palate, the wine is energetic yet round, with flavors of peach and hazelnut, supported by a salty freshness and the typical oyster shell aroma of Chablis.
