Maison Philippe Grisard's Les Molières is a powerful and layered red wine that combines the intensity of Mondeuse noire with the finesse of wood aging. This wine is a true expression of its terroir: robust, spicy and deeply rooted in the chalky slopes of Savoy.
In the glass, a complex aromatic profile unfolds in which ripe red fruit is interwoven with spicy and slightly toasted notes. Ageing in oak barrels gives the wine structure and depth, while subtle hints of vanilla soften the powerful tannins. With age, the wine evolves beautifully: intensity gives way to harmony, with notes of star anise, nutmeg and light toast coming to the fore.
