High in the terraces of Bianzone, where the sun warms the steep slopes and the wind from the mountains brings freshness, a wine emerges that requires patience and precision. Here the grapes are tended by hand, pruned on Guyot and harvested with respect for tradition. Every step, from vineyard to cellar, is about balance and purity.
This wine is a refined blend of 90% Nebbiolo, 5% Brugnola and 5% Pignola, which together form a complex and characterful whole. Vinification is done with care: fermentation in inox, manual pigeage and remontage without pumping, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then ages slowly - two years in steel, a year in terracotta amphorae and at least two years in bottle - which ensures depth and elegance.
In the glass, the wine reveals a harmony of fruit and spice, supported by balsamic notes that bring refinement on the nose as well as on the palate. The structure is powerful and pronounced, with a distinct personality and a long, layered finish. This is a wine that takes time - and rewards.
