Torre Pernice’s Vermentino is an elegant, dry white wine that perfectly reflects the Mediterranean character of Liguria. Made from 100% Vermentino, this wine stands out for its intense floral aromas, fresh acidity and refined minerality. Thanks to the influence of the sea and the sunny climate, the result is a wine with great vibrancy, balance and gastronomic versatility.
In the glass, the wine displays a straw-yellow colour with subtle greenish highlights. The bouquet is expressive and alluring, with aromas of wild flowers, aromatic herbs, gorse and a hint of aniseed. On the palate, the wine is dry, fresh and juicy, with notes of citrus and ripe yellow fruit, underpinned by a light hint of honey and a refined mineral finish.
This Vermentino is an excellent choice as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with fish dishes, shellfish and crustaceans, and traditional Ligurian cuisine. Its fresh, herbaceous character also comes into its own with ravioli, pansotti and pasta with pesto.
