The AOC Bordeaux Merlot from ABK6 Family Estate is an approachable and elegant red Bordeaux in which the expressive fruitiness of Merlot takes centre stage. Thanks to the clay-limestone and gravel-rich soils, the wine maintains a lovely balance between freshness, suppleness and finesse.
In the glass, the wine displays a bright ruby-red colour. On the nose, fresh aromas of red berries, cherries and ripe red fruit unfold invitingly. On the palate, the wine is supple and lively, with soft tannins, a refined freshness and a subtle tension that lends it elegance and makes it very drinkable. The light acidity adds extra freshness and makes the wine particularly approachable without losing any of its character.
This Merlot is perfect as an aperitif and pairs excellently with grilled meat, roasted vegetables and simple Mediterranean dishes.
