Product description
The name says it all. When life gives you lemons, make something wonderful out of them. And that’s exactly what Grandbois did with this Pet-Nat from the Maringer Sundial, one of the steep slopes that are so characteristic of the estate. Pure joie de vivre in a bottle, made honestly and without frills on the steep slopes of the Moselle, where every grape is picked by hand.
The wine ferments spontaneously using the Méthode Ancestrale: fermentation is completed in the bottle, allowing the bubbles to form naturally. No added sulphites, unfiltered, 100% vegan. The result is a slightly cloudy, lively Pet-Nat with a fine, creamy mousse. In the glass, you immediately smell the fresh side of the Moselle: crisp citrus notes, a hint of yeast and subtle herbs. On the palate, it’s dry, fresh and irresistibly drinkable, with just enough bite to keep things interesting.
This is a wine for moments when you have something to celebrate, or simply want to brighten up your day. It pairs superbly with a lemon risotto with green asparagus, homemade fish and chips or fresh sourdough bread with salted butter. Serve well chilled at 6–8°C.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
