The Riesling Steillage Trocken from Weingut Maring-Prigge is a characterful dry Riesling from the steep slate slopes of the Moselle. This wine embodies everything for which the region is renowned worldwide: fresh minerality, lively acidity and refined fruit expression. Thanks to the intensive manual labour carried out on the steep vineyards, the result is a Riesling characterised by purity, vibrancy and a clear expression of terroir.
On the nose, the wine opens with aromas of yellow fruit, fresh citrus and pronounced mineral notes that immediately bring to mind the slate soils of the Moselle. On the palate, it is taut and energetic, with a harmonious balance between fresh acidity, juicy fruit and an elegant structure. The lively minerality lends the wine depth and length, whilst the fresh style ensures a refined and invigorating finish. A Riesling that is both approachable and complex.
