Jocu Catarratto by Quattrocieli is an organic white wine that interprets the tradition of Sicily in a pure and contemporary way. Originating from the vineyards of Val di Bella in Alcamo, at an altitude of 450 metres, the Catarratto grows here on sandy, calcareous soils influenced by sun and sea breezes. The grapes are harvested by hand and rigorously selected, then gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures to retain their natural aromatic power.
After six months of aging in stainless steel tanks, the wine remains fresh, clean and expressive. On the nose, it displays elegant aromas of white flowers and ripe citrus, delicately complemented by light herbal notes. On the palate, Jocu Catarratto is fresh and lively, with a pleasant mineral touch and invigorating acidity that gives the wine tension and length. The finish is citrus-driven and clean, with a nice balance between fruit and freshness.
An ode to simplicity and authenticity, this Catarratto goes perfectly with light Mediterranean dishes. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish, seafood and fresh salads.
