The Nero di Sole Rosato is, like our Nero di Sole Rosso, one of our top wines. Born in the sunny Salento, it has a full, rich taste with elegant tannins, balanced acidity, and a soft, long finish. A wine that shows both refinement and character.
This Salento I.G.P. Primitivo Rosato comes from Grottaglie. The Primitivo grapes are picked by hand and grown in the backbone system. There are 13,000 bottles of 0.75 liters. The wine is fermented in steel tanks, giving it a light pink onion skin color and 12.5 to 13% alcohol. This keeps it fresh and pure.
The smell has rose petals, raspberries, and wild strawberries. The taste is fresh with good acidity, savory, and soft at the end. It’s perfect as an aperitif, with fish starters, dishes with white meat sauce, risotto with radicchio and walnuts, or fresh cheeses. A versatile and elegant choice!
