This Salento I.G.P. Negroamaro has an intense aroma with black cherry, plum, tobacco, and carob. The taste is unique, warm, and soft with just the right amount of tannin. It goes perfectly with legumes, ragù with sauce, meat, and aged cheeses. Our version of the wine that put Apulia on the world map of food and drink.
The grapes come from Salento and are picked by hand. They grow in the backbone system. There are 13,000 bottles of 0.75 liters. The wine is fermented in steel tanks, has an intense ruby red color, and 13.5 to 14% alcohol. This makes it powerful and full of character.
The smell is rich with violet, black cherry, plum, and light hints of tobacco and carob. The taste is well-structured, warm, and soft with nice tannin. It’s great with legume soup, noodles with meat sauce, lamb, or aged cheeses. A wonderful wine from Apulia’s tradition!
