The name lives up to its promise. The Sommer Chiller from Weingut Keber Kolling is made to be drunk chilled, enjoyed outdoors and simply to bring a smile to your face. It is a fresh, aromatic white blend from the organic family-run winery in Sommerloch on the Nahe, which has been working with care for the soil and biodiversity for three generations.
The wine is vinified in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, which keeps its fruity and aromatic qualities fully intact. In the glass, it is pale yellow and clear. The nose is fresh and lively: fruity aromas with a sparkling, pleasantly briny Nahe character. On the palate, it is light, juicy and easy to drink, with gentle acidity and a pleasant freshness.
Perfect as an aperitif on the terrace, but also a lovely accompaniment to pasta, salads and antipasti. It makes an excellent summer wine for a picnic or a cheerful table wine for weekday meals. Serve well chilled at 8–10°C for maximum enjoyment.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
