The vineyards are located on the western edge of the Weinviertel and benefit from a pannonian-continental climate. Warm summers, sunny autumn days and cool north winds give the wines freshness, intensity and a unique character - the "breeze of the Weinviertel". With 1980 hours of sunshine a year and little precipitation, Schrattenthal is an exceptional place for fresh Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, as well as powerful red wines such as Zweigelt and Merlot.

Respect for nature and origins is central to the family's work. On soils formed millions of years ago by the primordial sea, the vines are maintained with care and handwork. Organic viticulture is a natural choice for Hindler. Every glass of wine reflects their conviction: pleasure, authenticity and pure enjoyment from healthy nature.
