La Trava's Barbaresco DOCG is a wine that embodies the noble expression of 100% nebbiolo grapes from the Langhe region. This prestigious red wine matures for no less than 30 months in large wooden barrels, developing its elegant structure, depth and aromatic complexity. It is a wine for special moments, where tradition and refinement come together in one glass.
In the glass, this Barbaresco shines with a ruby red colour. The nose is intense and harmonious, with refined aromas of ripe red fruit, vanilla and liquorice, elegantly blending into a seductive and balanced olfactory profile. The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced, with ripe tannins providing firm structure and a long, lingering finish.
This wine is an excellent choice with refined meat dishes such as roast veal, game dishes or a classic osso buco. It also comes into its own with aged cheeses. Serve it at 16 to 18 °C and give it time to breathe to fully experience its elegant power.
