'Brich dij Luijs' is an expressive Dolcetto d'Alba that beautifully reflects the character of the hills surrounding Alba. Made from 100% dolcetto grapes, this wine is aged for 24 months in tank and bottle, giving it structure and harmony without losing its fruitiness.
In the glass, the wine shows a bright ruby red colour. The aroma is intense and grapey, with seductive notes of black cherries and berries. On the palate, it is dry, well-balanced and lively, with a pleasant touch of fine tannins and a long, fruity finish.
This Dolcetto is particularly suitable for everyday enjoyment and goes well with traditional Piedmontese dishes. Think tajarin with ragù, stuffed peppers, pasta with mushrooms or a simple board of salumi and hard cheeses. Serve it at 16-18 °C to make the most of its fruity freshness and soft texture.
