'Achivi' from La Trava is a characterful Barbera d'Alba that brings the rich tradition of the Langhe to life in the glass. This 100% Barbera is full-bodied and juicy, with a deep purple colour and an intense grapey aroma complemented by notes of berries and small red fruits.
On the palate, this wine is firm and nicely balanced, with a fresh touch that keeps it lively overall. The long, fruity finish makes it particularly pleasant and versatile at the table.
Achivi is best enjoyed with a cosy lunch with family or friends. Think classic Italian dishes such as lasagne, pasta with meat sauce, grilled sausage or roast chicken. It is also an excellent match with roasted vegetables or mature cheeses. Serve it lightly chilled at 16 to 18 °C for the best taste experience.
