The Collesanti Dantesco is a distinctive organic white wine made from 100% Famoso, a rare indigenous grape variety from the Romagna region that owes its name to its renown in the area. Sourced from the hills of Cesena, the wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts and is then aged for four months on its fine lees in stainless steel.
In the glass, the Dantesco displays a pale straw-yellow colour. The nose is fruity and inviting, with notes of mango, peach and fresh citrus that fully reflect the aromatic richness of the Famoso grape. On the palate, the wine is round, flavourful and pleasantly fresh.
The Dantesco pairs excellently with pasta, hard and mature cheeses, and cold meats. Its fruity freshness also makes it an appealing aperitif.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
