The Collesanti Giovinetta is a dry white wine made from 100% Albana, the only white grape variety with a DOCG classification in Romagna. Sourced from the hills of Cesena, the wine is fermented with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature and then aged for six months on its own lees in stainless steel, followed by a further six months of bottle ageing.
In the glass, the Giovinetta displays a vibrant golden-yellow colour. The nose offers pleasant notes of ripe yellow fruit: apricot and pineapple. On the palate, the wine is soft, fresh and well-balanced, with an elegant and pleasantly long finish.
The Giovinetta is an excellent accompaniment to stewed fish, fish soups, cheeses and white meat. Its gentle body and refreshing crispness also make it ideal with light Mediterranean dishes.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
