Featuring one bottle of 'Les Vercandières', two bottles of 'Origine', and three bottles of 'Terre du Sud', this selection brings together the essence of Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, and Crozes-Hermitage in wines full of character, depth, and aging potential. 'Les Vercandières' AOC Hermitage Blanc 2023 is a full-bodied, layered white wine made from 100% Marsanne grapes. On poor granite soils with vines some over eighty years old, this wine exudes depth, tranquility, and elegance. The 2023 vintage required patience and craftsmanship. A dry winter and spring caused stress in the vineyard, followed by intense heat and thunderstorms. It was precisely these conditions that gave this wine its character. This Hermitage is made for the present and the future. It's already wonderful with refined dishes like sea bass fillet with mashed potatoes, but also perfectly suited for aging for another ten years or more. With a limited production of just 850 bottles, Les Vercandières is a rare wine with authenticity and timeless class.
'Origine' AOC Saint-Joseph Rouge 2023 is a serious, powerful red wine made from 100% Syrah grapes. These grapes come from exceptionally old vines, some over sixty years old. This wine has excellent aging potential and will develop beautifully over fifteen to twenty years. It pairs best with classic dishes like coq au vin, game, or slow-cooked meat dishes. This wine is limited to just 3,500 bottles.
'Terre du Sud' AOC Crozes-Hermitage Rouge 2023 is an expressive, characterful red wine made from 100% Syrah grapes. This cuvée takes its name from the southerly location of the plots, where the sun shines freely and the Syrah can ripen optimally. The palate is supple and lively, with juicy red fruit, subtle tannins, and an accessible structure. This gastronomic Rhône wine is already enjoyable but can also easily mature over several years. Ideal with refined yet uncomplicated dishes and perfect to enjoy young.
