This Fara DOC from Il Chiosso is a classic blend of Nebbiolo and Vespolina. In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red colour with garnet hues. The nose is noble and refined, with notes of red fruit, subtle spices and a slight hint of earth and white chocolate. The aromatic profile is broad, but remains elegant and balanced.
On the palate, the wine is dry, harmonious and refined, with a nice structure and a long, pleasant finish. The tannins are present but soft, keeping the wine accessible without losing its depth. A characterful but elegant wine that comes into its own perfectly at the table.
