This Forster Schnepfenflug Kabinett lieblich 2014 is a distinctly aromatic Gewürztraminer for lovers of expressive, fragrant wines. A lush rose bouquet unfolds in the nose, complemented by a slightly bitter-spicy fruitiness. The style is seductive and harmonious: aromatic on the nose, soft and round on the palate, with a nice balance between sweetness and freshness.
On the palate, the wine is full and supple, with ripe fruit notes and spicy accents that deepen the floral character. The sweetness is present but well integrated, so the wine never becomes cloying. This not only makes it attractive as a dessert wine, but also surprisingly versatile at the table.
