In this Kabinett trocken 2024, Forster Winzerverein lets the terroir speak for itself in a refined, precise style: light-footed and elegant, but with striking depth and filling. In the nose, the wine is very fine-fruited, with subtle notes of white stone fruit and citrus, carried by a clear mineral signature. On the palate, it combines pronounced minerality with tremendous filling for a Kabinett: juicy and layered, with lively but mild acidity that keeps the wine round and harmonious. The finish is clean, fresh and persistent minerality. A Riesling that doesn't scream for attention, but draws you into its precision and depth.
Thanks to its mild acidity, this Kabinett is particularly versatile at the table: it pairs beautifully with fish dishes and with veal and pork, and its gentle freshness also makes it a surprisingly strong match with asparagus.
