The 'Li Mareni' Primitivo Rosato Salento IGP is a refined rosé wine made from 100% Primitivo grapes sourced from an area ideally suited to this grape variety. Thanks to careful vinification and maturation in stainless steel tanks, the fresh and fruity character of Primitivo comes into its own. The harvest takes place in the second half of September and production is limited to 4,000 bottles.
In the glass, the wine stands out for its bright red colour and lively appearance. The bouquet is fruity and inviting, with aromas typical of ripe grapes from sun-drenched Salento. On the palate, the wine is fresh, balanced and elegantly fruity, with a soft structure and pleasant drinkability. With an alcohol content of 13.5%, this rosato is powerful but harmonious.
'Li Mareni' is a versatile rosé that goes well with starters, pasta dishes, white meat and fish dishes. Serve lightly chilled at 10-12 °C for the best flavour experience. This wine is the perfect example of how Primitivo manages to surprise with character and finesse even in rosé form.
