The Fiano Bianco Salento IGP is an elegant white wine made from 100% Fiano, an indigenous grape variety deeply rooted in the southern Italian wine tradition. This wine stands out for its light straw yellow colour with brilliant green reflections, and its refined aroma profile in which floral notes merge with hints of fresh, exotic fruits. On the palate, a soft and round structure unfolds, carried by a lively freshness and a pleasant salty undertone, which makes for a harmonious and balanced whole.
The grapes are carefully harvested in late August, after which vinification takes place entirely in stainless steel to preserve aromatic expression and freshness. After a short maturation in bottle, the wine enters the market with an alcohol content of 13% vol, ready to show its full character. Production is limited to 10,000 bottles, making each bottle an authentic reflection of Salento's terroir.
This Fiano is particularly suitable as an accompaniment to refined dishes. It is excellent with light starters, seafood, fresh cheeses, fish pastas and white meat. Serve it lightly chilled at 12-14 °C to fully enjoy its aromatic nuances and lively freshness.
