Agricola Mevante

Their 10-hectare estate, facing fully east, catches every dawn and owes its name to that first light: Mevante, the land of the Levante. The cellar, built on two levels, follows the rhythm of gravity. Wine flows there naturally to the next stage without mechanical pressure, so aromas remain intact and the process retains its naturalness. Underground, wines mature in rooms where temperature and humidity find their balance naturally. Around sixty thousand bottles leave the estate every year, each reflecting Umbria: Montefalco Sagrantino, Montefalco Rosso, Grechetto and Trebbiano Spoletino.

In 2018, a new chapter began, focused on innovation and openness. The winery created spaces where visitors not only taste but also become part of the landscape. Among the vineyards, with views of Assisi, Spello, Trevi and intimate Bevagna, a glass of Sagrantino comes into its own. Here, visitors experience the place where wines are born and where their character is formed. Mevante thus represents the meeting of tradition, authenticity and a future where Umbria may finally show the world how great its wines can be.
