12 and 13 December: the ONWINE Winemakers’ Festival. Winemakers from all ONWINE countries are coming to the Netherlands to let you taste their best wines.
The Barbera “Fagiano” is an elegant still red wine that captures the authentic charm of the Barbera grape. It displays a bright ruby-red color that reflects its freshness and vibrancy. The nose is intense and expressive, offering aromas of red fruits with a subtle hint of spice typical of this variety.
Fermented with a six-day maceration and aged in steel and cement tanks, this wine preserves its natural fruit purity and crispness. On the palate, it is dry and full-bodied, with balanced acidity and a smooth texture that lead to a clean, harmonious finish.
The Barbera “Fagiano” pairs beautifully with pasta dishes in tomato sauce, poultry, or soft cheeses. Serve slightly below room temperature to best enjoy its bright and balanced character.
