Coralium Syrah Rosé by Quattrocieli is an organic rosé that reflects the fresh and sunny side of Sicily. Originating from the vineyards of Fontanelle in Calatafimi, 200 metres above sea level, the Syrah grows here on clay soils influenced by warm days and cooling Mediterranean breezes. The grapes are harvested by hand and rigorously selected to ensure purity and aromatic finesse.
After destemming, the wine undergoes a short skin soak of about one hour, giving it its distinctive pale pink colour. Fermentation lasts 15 days at low temperature to preserve the fresh fruit aromas. The wine then matures for six months in stainless steel tanks to fully show off its lively and pure character.
On the nose, Coralium opens with delicate yet expressive aromas of strawberry, pomegranate and rose petals. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, with a pleasant salty touch that alludes to the Mediterranean terroir. The finish is refined, slightly floral and inviting. An elegant and drinkable rosé, ideal with summer dishes, light fish preparations or as a refined aperitif.
