Agapé Blanc 2024 is a fresh, refined white wine from the sunny slopes at the foot of Mont Ventoux. The vineyards are on argilo-limestone-rich soils, which gives the wine its briny tension and elegant length. This cuvée perfectly reflects Domaine Souleyrol's light, accessible style: pure, lively and made for sharing.
The blend consists of 50% Grenache Blanc, 25% Viognier, 25% Rolle (Vermentino) and 10% Clairette. The grapes are harvested by hand and delivered in crates to avoid oxidation. After cold pressing at 4°C, fermentation follows at 16°C, preserving aromatic freshness and giving the wine its sleek, clean style.
In the glass, Agapé Blanc is very light in colour with silvery reflections. The nose is fine and fresh with notes of verbena, lime and a subtle hint of mango. On the palate, the wine is lively, slightly spicy and carried by an elegant saltiness that extends the finish. A thirst-quenching Ventoux Blanc with precision and balance.
