The 'Les Grands Ducs' Rouge AOC Saint-Joseph is a silky-smooth, fruit-driven red wine made from 100% Syrah grapes. It comes from a spectacular, restored plot on steep terraces above the Vieux Rhône near Saint-Pierre-de-Bœuf. Laurent Merlin brought the old chayets back to life here and replanted the vineyard, allowing this exceptional terroir to regain its voice. In the glass, the wine is silky smooth and fruit-driven, with spicy depth. The tannins are fine and balanced, supported by a subtle mineral freshness. The finish is long, harmonious, and seductive – a Saint-Joseph with class and great aging potential.
2x The 'Les Grands Ducs' Blanc AOC Saint-Joseph is an aromatic, full-bodied white wine made from 70% Marsanne and 30% Roussanne grapes. In the glass, “Les Grands Ducs” opens with expressive aromas of linden blossom, stewed pear, and almond. The palate is full and layered, with a fresh, mineral finish that elegantly balances the ripe fruit notes. The 'Les Terroirs' Blanc AOC Condrieu 2024 is a pure, terroir-driven white wine made from 100% Viognier grapes. The wine originates from the lieux-dits Roncharde (Condrieu) and Poncin (Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône). On steep, east-facing slopes, where lime-sandy soils on blond granite are enriched by arzel at the foot of the slopes, a Condrieu emerges with natural balance and pronounced minerality. In the glass, the wine opens with aromas of peach and rose, refreshed by a hint of menthol. The palate is harmonious and generous, with a fresh, mineral finish that elegantly tempers the richness of the Viognier. A Condrieu that combines power and precision, offering immediate drinking pleasure and beautiful aging potential.
