Leo Aumann's Zweigelt & Reserve 2023 is a powerful and harmonious cuvée from the Thermenregion, bringing together tradition and precision. This wine combines 90% Zweigelt with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, adding structure and complexity. Only the best grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected, ensuring quality right from the vineyard.
After harvesting, the wine is aged for 12 months in small French oak barrels, which gives it its depth and refined wood influences. In the nose, ripe fruit aromas emerge, supported by subtle spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is full and round, with a nice balance between fruit, wood and soft tannins.
The finish is long and powerful, but remains accessible and supple, making this wine both impressive and pleasantly drinkable. A versatile red wine that perfectly shows how power and elegance can go hand in hand.
