Leo Aumann's St Laurent Ried Ronald 2022 is a powerful and characterful red wine from Pfaffstätten, where the Thermenregion shows its more structured and profound side. Sourced from carefully selected grapes from top vintages, this wine reflects the winery's precision and ambition, with a clear focus on quality and ripeness.
The grapes are hand-harvested and rigorously selected before processing. The wine is then aged for no less than 18 months in 500-litre French oak barrels, adding complexity and structure. In the glass, it shows a deep, dark colour, while the nose opens with aromas of ripe red fruit, spiciness and subtle wood tones.
On the palate, the wine is powerful and full-bodied, with firm but elegant tannins that provide structure and storage potential. The combination of ripe fruit, spicy nuances and a long, intense finish makes this a wine that develops beautifully with age. Already impressive when young, but with even more promise for the future.
