The white wine from Francesco Loi, made from 100% Catarratto — the white symbol of Sicily — from vines that have been growing since 1954 at 850 metres altitude in the mountain air of the Madonie. Fully fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, which keeps the pure fruitiness and mountain minerality completely intact. In the glass straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose is fresh and aromatic with citrus, flint and white flowers. In taste soft and fresh, with a lovely saltiness and a mineral finish that reminds you of fresh mountain air. No fuss, just the mountain in a glass. Three bottles, because this is a wine you'll want to open on every occasion: with fish, fresh cheeses, light summer dishes or simply as an aperitif on a warm evening.

The red wine from Francesco Loi, made from 100% Perricone of the rare Guarnaccio biotype — one of the most distinctive and little-known indigenous red grape varieties of Sicily. After a maceration of approximately ten days with 20% whole clusters, the wine ages partly in French oak barriques and partly in stainless steel, giving it its characteristic balance between fruitiness, herbs and a subtle oak touch. In the glass clear ruby red. The nose is seductive with cherry in spirit and rose petals. In taste soft and fresh, persistent, with present but gentle tannins. An elegant red wine that honestly and directly reflects its terroir. Three bottles, because it goes with grilled red meat, hearty pastas, aged cheeses and also perfectly with a braised dish on a cooler evening.
