Product description
The Vin de France Orange 2024 from Domaine Le Ver Libre is a characterful orange wine, made from 100% Ugni Blanc. The grapes come from clay-limestone soils in the Rhône and are organically grown. The grapes are harvested traditionally by hand and transported to the cellar in small crates. Fermenting the whole grapes gives the wine its distinctive structure and character.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using only indigenous yeasts. Foot-treading is used during vinification and the wine is not filtered. The wine is then aged in oak barrels and on the lees. Furthermore, no sulphites are added, ensuring that the character of the grape and the natural vinification process take centre stage.
This Vin de France Orange is a wine for lovers of characterful, unfiltered wines with a natural style. The combination of skin contact, ageing in oak and on the lees gives the wine extra structure and depth. Thanks to its gastronomic character, it is also an interesting accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
