The Perlende Kräuter is Weingut Ellwanger’s alcohol-free maverick, and it’s a delightful surprise. Early-harvest Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc are refined with a herbal extract from Steffi Ellwanger’s own herb garden. The result is a fresh, sparkling beverage with a distinct herbal note that sets it apart from ordinary grape juice. On the palate, it’s slightly sweet and aromatic, with the crisp acidity of citric acid that keeps it lively. A great choice for those who want to enjoy a drink without alcohol, whether as an aperitif or for a festive occasion. Serve chilled at 6–8°C.
