Maison D&D's Muscat Petit Grain - Vallée d'Aoste DOC is a refined white wine that expresses the pure aromatic power of Moscato Bianco in its purest form. The grapes, grown according to the Guyot system on sunny slopes in the Valle d'Aosta, are harvested in late September to reach their optimal ripeness and aromatic intensity.
After a short cold maceration, the grapes are gently pressed and a controlled low-temperature fermentation follows, preserving the delicate aromas. The wine then matures in stainless steel vats on fine yeasts ("sur lies") with weekly bâtonnages, adding roundness and complexity. In the glass, it shows an intense straw yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose is lively and fruity, with fresh notes that clearly recall the grape of origin. On the palate, the wine is aromatic, harmonious and perfectly balanced, with a lingering, elegant finish.
The Muscat Petit Grain - Vallée d'Aoste DOC is an ideal wine as an aperitif, but also comes out beautifully with fresh goat cheese, young cheeses or savoury raw ham. Its expressive aromas and refined structure make it a seductive choice for any occasion.
