Product description
Roussette de Savoie "Anne de Lusignan" is a tribute to the woman who, according to tradition, brought the Altesse grape to Savoy in 1433. The vineyards are situated on sunny slopes between Chambéry and Albertville, on argilo-limestone-rich alpine rubble soils that provide freshness, tension and a pronounced minerality. The result is a Roussette that brings together tradition and terroir in a refined, elegant style.
The wine is made from 100% Altesse, harvested by hand and pressed by gravity. Careful clarification is followed by a long, cool fermentation at 15-17 °C. Aging on fine lie with regular bâtonnage for six months gives the wine extra roundness, texture and depth, while maintaining fresh acidity.
In the glass, "Anne de Lusignan" shows light golden yellow with green reflections. The nose is floral and inviting, with notes of white fruit and citrus, complemented by subtle brioche-like aromas due to lie aging. On the palate, the wine is full and balanced, with a slight saltiness in the finish that nicely reflects the alpine terroir.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
