Product description
Cruet "Alpine Jacquère" is a fresh, lively white wine from the sunny south-eastern slopes of Cruet, between Chambéry and Albertville. The vineyards lie on argilo limestone-rich soils formed by alpine rubble slopes, which gives the wine its distinctive minerality and excitement. The cool alpine climate provides pronounced freshness, while the southern exposure allows ripe fruit and aromatic intensity.
The wine is made from 100% Jacquère, a grape native to Savoy. Careful clarification is followed by a long, cool fermentation at 15-17 °C to preserve primary aromas while developing roundness. The wine then matures on fine lie until spring, giving extra texture and length without losing freshness.
In the glass, Cruet "Alpine Jacquère" shows bright and light in colour. The nose is refined with aromas of pear and citrus, complemented by floral notes. On the palate, the wine is tight and lively, with elegant minerality and a fresh, citrusy finish. A pure, thirst-quenching style that perfectly reflects the alpine terroir.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
